At 3:16 PM, Jennifer scribbled...

I have a new book for the monthly updates. It's possible this one is different, it's also possible the last year's worth of updates was a month off, sorry. This one clarifies when the months begin and end. I only list ALL of the shoulds, whether Bri can do them or not. The others (probably, possibly, may even) I only list the stuff she can do. So, according to this book, What to Expect the Toddler Years "the thirteenth month begins when a child is twelve months old and ends when s/he is thirteen months old". Bri is then in the fourteenth month, so this update should have been done on the 10th. But, it's being done now. Deal. ;)

By the end of the 13th month, Bri -
SHOULD be able to:
*pull up to standing - no probs.
*get into a sitting position - easy.
*cruise - for months.
*clap hands - for months.
*indicate wants in ways other than crying - when Bri wants you to do something, she grabs your hand and drags it towards what she wants you to do. I'm not sure how long she's been doing it.

Will PROBABLY be able to:
*put an object into a container - yup
*imitate activities - I think so...
*stand alone - very breifly.

May POSSIBLY be able to:
*drink from a cup - she can drink from a sippy cup fine, but doesn't really want to. She can drink from our cups if we hold them.
*point to a desired object - she points at herself in the mirror, I don't know if this counts.
*scribble - she prefers to eat the crayons.

Most of the stuff she can't do involves talking, spoon feeding herself and poiting to specific body parts when asked.
