Another month already. Babies grow too quickly, and yet, not fast enough. Screaming weasels. So, here's Serena's book update.
SHOULD be able to:
*Smile in response to your smile - yup. Soo cute. Almost makes up for the screaming.
*Follow an object in an arc to the midline - I beleive so. She likes to watch Brianna. It makes her stop screaming.
*Respond to a bell in some way - generally by screaming.
*vocalize in ways other than screaming - occasionally we get an "aaaooo-click" noise.
Will PROBABLY be able to:
*On stomach, lift head 45 degrees - I think so. She has a strong neck. But it makes her scream.
*Follow an object in an arc past the midline - I think so.
May EVEN be able to:
*Hold head steady when upright - 99% of the time. Sometimes she gets a little flaily when screaming.
Things she can't do involve rolling, reaching, laughing and not screaming for most of the day. Ok, I made that last one up. If you haven't noticed, things have been screamy the last few days. Ugh.
Brianna is good, she has a new computer game that turns her into a zombie for several hours. I have to kick her off the computer. She's also back in a playgroup, one just started at the local library. I'm going to put new pics up now, so go look.
