At 8:40 PM, Jennifer scribbled...

Serena had her check up today. She is ginormous. Off the charts in height, 32". 23 pounds, which is about 75th percentile. She got two needles, even though I'm not entirely sold on the necessity of Menjugate for us. This time, she did not like the needles. I'm sure it didn't help when the doctor said, "Hold still, now I'm going to stab you with things." Heh. She screamed bloody murder for the MMR, it's an arm shot. But she got over it quickly, which is good. And here's the book update I forgot to do the other day.

SHOULD be able to:
*walk holding onto furniture - yes.

PROBABLY be able to:
*play patty-cake/wave bye-bye - yes, she waves bye.
*pick up a tiny object neatly with the pincer grasp - oui.
*stand alone momentarily - she can even do squats.

POSSIBLY be able to:
*indicate wants in ways other than crying - yes, screaming.
*stand alone well - in my judgement call, yes.

Most of the things she can't do revolve around talking. There is no talking from this baby. She only says "aarrrgghh!" or "eh".
