Ginormo baby turned 17 months the other day. She says a few new things now, Maaaa, Daaaa, ba pa (backpack) and shoe actually sounds like shoe and not 'schna'. Oh, and "why?" she seems too young for this, but uses it properly. Sigh.
Brianna is in skating again, and after a rough first week her second week was better. She was skating backwards yesterday. Well, it was more like shuffling backwards, but it's more than I can do.
SHOULD be able to:
*use 2 words - yup.
*drink from a cup - when she's paying attention. If she's not concentrating, she pours it down her chin.
PROBABLY be able to:
*stack two cubes - yup.
May POSSIBLY be able to:
*walk up steps - she still needs help for this. She's a big baby, but the steps still come up to her knees.
*remove an article of clothing - a couple days ago, she took off all her clothes.
*feed a doll - I have seen her do this.
I am not sure she can do any of the May Evens this month. I've never seen her build a tower of 4, or asked her to point to things in books. She does not combine words yet, she doesn't really have enough of them. I haven't seen her throw a ball overhand, and as for speaking and being understood half the time...well, whenever she speaks in English I understand her, but I don't think that's what they mean.
