At 11:20 AM, Jennifer scribbled...

I am sooo slow. Bad me. Bad.

I missed a month on the Serena update, but suffice to say she still doesn't talk much and is trouble. Mega trouble.

Bri is back in school and happy about it.

Christmas was good, the kids were spoiled rotten, as usual. Serena's favourite present seems to be a glow worm where Bri enjoys all her Barbie Pet stuff.

We got a puppy a few days after Christmas because someone I knew turned out to be allergic to him and he needed somewhere to go. We named him Moose and he's a serious PITA. He's slightly better behaved than DeeDee was, possibly because he's smaller (he's a beagleX). He pees all over everything though and constantly escapes from the spot in the kitchen we're trying to contain him to. He's been to the vet once already and checked out health wise. He's getting his shots tonight, and will be neutered next month.

Last, as most of the family knows, I am pregnant again. We're expecting the third screaming weasel Aug 23rd or thereabouts. I've seen a midwife already, unfortunately Jane has the whole summer off and Liz is off the week of my DD so I have a different woman, Teri, but she seems nice. Teri is a new midwife like Liz, and they actually share a caseload. I will see Liz once or twice for my appointments and if I birth while she's in town she could be the one delivering. We also learned that one of our neighbours is a midwife in the same practice, which is good. This way, if I have emergency birthing on the lawn I might get some back up. ;) We're hoping we might have a boy this time, but who knows. Nobody would complain about another girl.

And now, a book update for Serena so I don't forget again.
SHOULD be able to:
*dump objects - all over the house. Fun.
*use a spoon/fork - yes, and it must be all by herself. There is no damage control for pudding anymore.
*run - like a bit of a gimp, but hey. Mike says she runs like she has no knees.

May POSSIBLY be able to:
*combine words - unless 'all gone' counts, no.
*identify a picture by naming - yup.
*name six body parts - she calls an ear an eye, so I'm not sure if we're up to 6. She's got boobie down though, heh.
*throw a ball overhand - yes, and it's a scary thing.

May EVEN be able to:
*identify 4 pictures by naming - yes.
*build a tower of six cubes - I'm not sure.

The things she can't do involve talking. No one understands her half the time and she sure doesn't have 50 words yet.
