Bri is now five, boo hoo. She had three friends from school over on Friday which she enjoyed. Then she had her party on Saturday which she also enjoyed. She got lots of nice stuff, and a bit of money to help redecorate her room when we get there. It's next, hopefully our bedroom will be finished by the end of April. Bri also went for her 5 year old check up, she's pretty much the same - 42" and 41 pounds. She was none too pleased with her shots though.

Serena has another ear infection, I think this is #4. Normally she's not too upset about it, but this time she was quite fevered and whiny. She's on amoxicillian again and feels better.

The cat has an ear infection too, hurray.

Serena is also getting closer to 2, so here's her update.

SHOULD be able to:
*use 6 words - she uses a lot now. Her talking is really getting better.
*walk up steps - she still uses her arms a lot on the rails to haul herself up. She has short legs.

PROBABLY be able to:
*build a tower of 4 cubes - I think so.
*follow a 2 step command without gestures - Serena understands far more than she says.

POSSIBLY be able to:
*build a tower of 6 cubes - not sure.
*Identify four pictures by pointing - yup.
*wash and dry hands - I have no idea. Bad germy mom.

May EVEN be able to:
*jump up - I'd classify it more as a hop, but sure.
