Serena is two! And for her birthday, Brianna gave her the chickenpox. She had a slow start to them, but now she's pretty covered.
Her party was good, she was very happy with her cake. All week she'd been asking about her birthday cake. She got a reasonable amount of presents for once, which was nice.
SHOULD be able to:
*take off an article of clothing - the only think she takes off is socks. But she has taken pants off a couple times.
*feed a doll - all the time.
*build a tower of 4 cubes - yup.
*identify two pictures by pointing - yup.
PROBABLY be able to:
*build a tower of 6 cubes - I think so.
*throw a ball overhand - the only want she knows how.
*speak and be understood half the time - by us, yes. By stragers, I'm not so sure.
*indentify pictures by pointing and naming - I am still not exactly sure what is meant by this, but Serena points and names lots of things in books, so I think she's meeting the requirements.
POSSIBLY be able to:
*jump - especially on the couch.
May EVEN be able to:
*draw a vertical line - her favorite type.
*build a tower of 8 cubes - not sure.
She can't put on her own clothes or carry on a conversation yet. After this, we go into the quarterly updates, which I always forget. I'll try harder to remember.
