The baby is three months old tomorrow, and if you're lucky I'll do that there book update and maybe scan some pictures in too.
In honour of her birthday, we bought her a new baby bathtub. Ok, we just hated the old bathtub. It has a hinge in the middle and leaks all over the bathroom floor all the time. It's a cute new tub, it has a hammock for future newborns and it looks to be more comfortable than the old one.
Which brings me to my biggest piece of advice for any first time moms that might read my ramblings. Buy good shit the first time if you think there will ever be a chance of you having more kids. And a chance is pretty much what you get if you don't have your husband neutered immediately. Now, with Bri we didn't really have the option to buy expensive things, but it really does suck to be replacing stuff on baby #3. Not only are we spending more money, but we had to deal with using the crappy item for the first two kids. I remember we just bathed Bri with us when she was a baby. I can't remember what we did with Serena, maybe we just didn't bathe that one. Hosed her off in the backyard once a week. But so far Katie's gotten a new bouncy chair, bathtub and highchair (although the highchair is because my kitchen is so damn small), and it looks like we're going to have to buy a new stroller soon too.
Guess we'll have to have more kids to cover the expense. Heh.
