I have been procrastinating posting, though I don't really know why. Pre-Christmas lazyness I suppose.
I'll start with the oldest kid and go down the list I suppose. Bri is loving school, as usual. She got her first report card, and it is good. All A's except in gym (surprise!) and french, but french was a B+. We are still discussing enrichment activities for Bri in school. She will be starting a "Mad Science" program in Jan. Every Friday all the kids who's parents coughed up the money get to go somewhere for their second nutrition break (aka lunch) and participate in science experiments. Magnets and volcanos and slime and such. I'm sure she'll love it. She's still doing dance and Sparks which she enjoys. The biggest news for Bri is that she got glasses last weekend. We knew it was coming, and they are very cute. It's only been a week and it's like she's always worn them. She got pink ones. I don't have any pics yet, and probably won't until her birthday or something, heh. The camera has a brand new roll of film in it.
Serena is her usual crazy. When she found out Bri was getting glasses and she wasn't, she cried. She is a good big sister to Katie, helps her climb on stuff she shouldn't be. She's dropping out of dance, which is a bummer. She is so cute dancing. For some reason she is unable to articulate properly, she just doesn't want to go anymore. Oh well, she did it for three months, which is pretty good I suppose.
Katie is getting bigger by the day. She runs around like a crazy fool, and she keeps climbing on the table. She is finally starting to say stuff, but nothing important. All she says is Hi, Bye, and uh oh. And still the occasional Maaahm!
Mike finished the house framing in November, beating the snow. We've started phase 2, which is getting an occupancy pass. That means the house has to be done up to the drywall all over. Lots of work, but Mike thinks he'll be done in the spring.
